8th INTERNATIONAL ORIENTAL DANCE FESTIVAL

It is a charity event in aid of Saartjie Baartman Centre for (abused) Women and Children
Organised by Ajsa Samia and Oriental Dance Theatre Palace of the Winds (NPO-052-395)
The Festival includes:
Thursday, 24th October 2013:
Opening Gala Evening where you can enjoy performances by professional International and South African Oriental Dancers
Friday, 25th October 2013:
Workshop day where you can learn from the world’s best oriental dance teachers
Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October 2013:
Fringe Program at the V&A Waterfront. There are hundreds of belly dancers, from beginners to master level; from all over the world performing. Performances begin at 10am and finish at 6pm, both days.
There is also a Bazaar where you can buy dancing accessories, jewellery, costumes, food and much more presented by small businesses from South Africa
